Elder's trading style is very similar to mine, so I've always found his books helpful and interesting. If you've read Trading for a Living (which you should have), you wont walk away from this book having learned much more. Quite a bit is rehashing what was already covered. Additionally, I was hoping for more insight on exit strategies, which is a chronically unappreciated part of trading. This book gave some good insights into exit strategies (mostly for beginners), but nothing advanced or concrete.

Practical, concise and engaging writing. One of the best investment I have made was to buy this book. The author managed to give very compelling example to drive a point across, this is especially useful for remembering a key concept. I am a total fan of Dr Alexander Elder, this guy is a guru and I am glad I have owned almost all his books.

Important distinctions in market behaviors and subsequently between bullish and bearish markets. The questions and answers alone are worth the ticket price. Thank you, Dr. Elder.

You can't go wrong with an Elder book. I love his Impulse indicator on Thinkorswim, combined with FW MOBO - basic. Those two indicators took me into consistent profitability in my trading. This book helped me overcome my fear of shorting, essential for anyone who aspires to professional status. Thanks Dr. Elder!

Excellent, as you would expect from this master of thought and market. Easy to follow, and versatile, depending upon one's trading habits.

This book is more about technical analysis and is a great complement if you already grasp the fundamental part. The specific rules and guidelines in this book are detailed and very useful. I feel most of the strategies are for short term traders but it does provide many trading insights.

I truly enjoy reading any of Alexander Elder's books. He has a excellent grasp of the trader's psychology and captures the essence of trading. I can read his books over and over and continue to refine my skills. From beginner to advanced and beyond the best advice for traders everywhere.
